Do I need any prior painting experience?
No. This workshop is designed specifically for people who have never painted before, or who have tried before without proper instruction and want to begin the right way.
What materials do I need and how much will they cost?
Your Resource Guide — included with enrollment — provides a complete list with specific recommendations at every price point. A basic beginner’s oil painting setup can be assembled for a modest investment. Most materials are available locally or online well before the workshop begins.
What if I cannot attend one of the two sessions live?
Every participant receives permanent personal access to their unedited session recording. If you miss a session, the recording is yours immediately. That said, the live sessions include Q&A and real-time instruction that the recording cannot fully replicate. I encourage every participant to attend live if at all possible.
Will I actually finish a painting?
Yes. By the end of Session 2 you will have a completed landscape painting. That is not a hope — it is the design of the workshop. The sequential painting guide you receive before Session 1 shows you the complete painting you will be working toward, stage by stage.
Is this workshop appropriate for someone who retired from a completely unrelated field?
It is designed precisely for that person. The discipline, patience, and capacity for learning that built your career are exactly the qualities that will make you a good painter.
